     The Kidling and I (as well as a friend of the Kidling) went to an auction today.  I went for the auction itself, the Kidling went because the local 4H group was running the lunch-booth, and he "volunteered" to help out...  ;)

     I attended my first auction of 2011 today; The main reason I went was because they were selling a 1984 Versatile 400 Swather, which is a newer model of the one I currently have.  I was hoping that it would sell cheaply, but that was not the case - it wound up selling for $2,500.00, which was well above what I was prepared to pay for it.  It ( Read more... )
