I'm looking for advice about how to get a horse to pay more attention to his feet. I'm sponsoring a 23 y.o. Arabian trail horse who recently tripped on a rock (I think) and fell, crushing my right leg (which I managed to escape with just a torqued leg, no break or sprain). So, Mr. Galabad has an issue in his hoof that requires soaking with epsom salts and water. We've never had to do this before, and while Gali isn't the most cooperative horse on the ground, he has no problems with water or puddles or having his hooves handled, so I didn't think he would protest too much.
