So I'm thinking WAY in the future (maybe in the spring) of relocating to Boston (in the city, not out in the 'burbs) and was just trying to look at a few possible boarding options that it wouldn't take me an hour to drive to.

I'm not from the area so was wondering if any Boston-area folk might be able to give me a ballpark boarding price?

My sister is looking into starting her 7 year old daughter into horseback riding lessons after Christmas, and after searching her area she found one that has a children's beginner program.  The first thing the 'trainer' told my sister was that she didn't have to spend the money on the expensive riding equipment, she could just use a bike helmet. i moved my horse to vt about 7 months ago. the barn is okay but the paddocks are a little rough and she's had more issues with soundness than usual. Does anyone know of a good barn in the South Burlington/Williston area? Can't afford too much since i'm in school right now, but i'm not sure i want to keep her where she is.

My mom called the BO yesterday when I was in school and things went pretty much as expected. She was okay with it at first, but then she called my mom back and asked if that meant we wouldn't be working...I'm pretty sure that by leaving we would not be working anymore. ... are confusing as hell. I had my first try at it during my lesson on friday. Is it the outside leg you are supposed to be following or the inside leg? I forgot that already. And how can you tell?
