Un (pron. een) - I am still suffering the after-effects of the Cold Of Doom.  This is Day Twelve and I'm still slightly croaky and sinusy and coughy.  And VERY VERY BORED of feeling poorly.

I had a migraine on Thursday/Friday, which was Not At All Fun.

I did use it as an excuse to eat Far Too Many Cadbury Caramel Nibbles (which are just gorgeous, and far nicer than the Caramel bars.  They're sort of like the bastard love children of a Caramel and a bag of Buttons.  Yum...)

I am really bad at keeping this journal updated. Thing is, not much is going on in my life apart from PhD/uni stuff, and I’m sure most people don’t want to read about that.

There were three people standing outside Morrisons wearing floor length velvet capes.  With the hoods up.

Note to self:
Avoid all supermarkets this weekend.  They will all be full of freshers and their parents buying healthy food.  Also avoid them next weekend, when they will be full of freshers buying vodka and rum and alka seltzer and paracetemol.

Went to the department in all innocence last Monday and came out with responsibility for supporting a distance learning module on research skills.  Quite pleased - no face-to-face teaching responsibility, but student support and marking.
