Bought a new veggie recipe book and used this as a good excuse to go through my other one and bin anything we weren't going to make, got rid of most of it and saved a few recipes to try out and bin if crap

1) Defrost puff pastry the night before - this is important as popping it on the radiator will melt your puff pastry and the microwave will just cook it weirdly. Roll out puff pasty and chop into 4 bits unless 1 big pie or teeny tiny pies are needed, whatever

chop taters up into small bits and boil till softish(or chuck in microwave and cook with water)but not too crumbly or they're overdone and will end up as mash
