Bought a new veggie recipe book and used this as a good excuse to go through my other one and bin anything we weren't going to make, got rid of most of it and saved a few recipes to try out and bin if crap.
We did a B&Q trip and bought 4 plants for the garden and did a bit of tidying and weeding. Couldn't be arsed to cook much so we had a couple of frozz bits and to accompany it, we had some left over boiled taters, carrots and a teeny bit of cabbage from friday's meal. I put them in the blender and added some frozen chickpeas and soya beans (though tinned would also do) and blended this - top tip - best to wait till frozz veg is unfrozz before attempting to blend otherwise blender makes horrible noises. Added bread and blended to crumbs and a bit of veg stock (didn't really need this just the mixture was a bit dry and i didn't have enough eggs, probably an egg would have been better) added salt and pepper and season all as well as some chicken spice and then some grated cheese.
make sure texture is good to go (add more bread crumbs/liquid otherwise)
Fry lightly on both sides and then chuck in oven and bake through.
We also wentto the pet shop but Honeybunny was gone so she must have been adopted some time this week after all. we are slightly disappointed but have to say mostly relieved! I hope she has found herself a lovely home. I have a terrible addiction to lop eared bunnies but i think another one would be way too much to manage at the moment.
