I'm sure most everyone has heard already ( Nathan tweeted last night and all the entertainment magazine/websites picked up the story this morning) that Joss Whedon has filmed his own modern day version of Much Ado About Nothing.

 I finally went to see Inkheart, I'm so glad I didn't miss out seeing it on the big screen:  the sets and action sequences deserved to be seen on the big screen!  It is a beautiful film: beautifully cast, and wonderfully filmed with amazing settings, sets, and costumes.  The studios made a terrible mistake by marketing it for children, it meant ( Read more... )

I saw The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian today, and I liked it better than The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, although I did think it could have used some snappier editing. I had the feeling that they left in too much battle and didn't include enough character time.

I just saw Ironman and I totally loved it:  character driven, beautifully cast, good looking effects which do not overshadow, much less take over....  I'm not saying there aren't things that could have been improved, but compared to most Hollywood blockbusters this was totally awesome!  I'm so glad they cast such wonderful actors for the roles, it ( Read more... )
