Much Ado About Nothing

I'm sure most everyone has heard already ( Nathan tweeted last night and all the entertainment magazine/websites picked up the story this morning) that Joss Whedon has filmed his own modern day version of Much Ado About Nothing.  
Whedon put out a Press Release today with some information and the cast:

Can't wait for this - Joss vs Shakespeare, plus Sean Maher as a villain and a lovely leading couple. Actually, I've neglected Shakespeare for too long, I need to go see one of his plays soon.

When I lived in Washington, DC I had season tickets to the Folger Shakespeare Theater (a lovely little replica of the Globe): Shakespeare can be so entertaining and fun, even the tragedies are full of humor (if the director has a clue and wants to bring it out). I'm sure Joss' version will be hilarious. Certainly the filming/party sounds like it was a lot of fun:

I think it is very cool that he can have his friends over and end up with a movie to presented at film festivals!
