My latest semester of ceramics classes just started today, and I thought I would show some of my recent work.  ( ceramics fun )

 Everyone is coming up with this that make them happy, and I am feeling VERY happy at this moment:

1.  I am so happy to have President Obama in office, he is a constant  source of joy for me, and last night he gave one of the most beautiful speeches of his career (for Lincoln's birthday), it was way better than his inaugural address!  LOL

So today I got three ceramic figures finished in ceramics class, all are done in American Raku, and all three are inspired by Terry Pratchett's Discworld witches (also inspired by Japanese Haniwa/burial figures with very simplistic facial features...more to represent figures than to look exactly like them): ( Read more... )
