I was going to write about our holiday (it was brilliant!! Very relaxing, with enough things to do to keep us busy, but not too much, as we just wanted to chill out.)

But instead, I'm just going to talk about pain.

Nowadays, living in Brighton (Hove, actually) and working in London the nearest I get to the countryside is charging through it on a train.

But last night we arrived at my Dad's place, and we're here until Sunday.

So what have I been doing today?

We're back from Paris. It was great - pics to follow.

Hotel was nice, weather was fab, we saw the sights and met the people.

I was going to update from the top of the Eiffel Tower, but decided it was a waste of money...

And the Tower has particularly gorgeous lights on it right now, btw.

We had a 'workforce photo' taken on Thursday - all the fabs lined up against a bench (except the wee man who refused to have his picture taken). Rich was the photographer, Si was in charge of lining us all up. "Right a bit, left a bit, move your head" - transpired that Si was trying to pose us so that we masked the porn on the wall behind ( Read more... )
