jonboy1 are off on our hols tomorrow.
His packing has consisted of clothing, shoes, toiletries etc.
Mine has so far involved charging iPod, clearing memory cards in phones/cameras, finding cables for aforementioned phones.cameras, buying a travel adaptor for the laptop, buying pens, buying some noise-cancelling headphones and ensuring i have enough of the sort of pad I write in. That's not the difference between men and women, that's the difference between normal folk and geeks.
just got to backup onto the external HD before I go and charge the camera battery.
Quick poll. Who here has heard of The Champions - Stirling, Barrett and MacReady, champions of law, order and justice! They're not superhuman....but they are super humans!
If that means nothing to you, then you can live safe in the knowledge you have missed one of THE best shows to come out of Pinewood Studios. In 1968.
And it will also mean nothing to you that I've started writing Champfic again. I say again as if anyone knew I'd written any anyway....which no one does. But there we go. You wanna wax lyrical about them? Cos I do, and hardly anyone knows what I'm going on about. (That's one of them, in me icon)
