 Went on a Crum walk Sunday & filled my memory card.  Light was perfect.

Finished a painting in Oil today - we had to create a scene in 3d in a box, then paint what we saw through a hole in the box.  All jewel-tones and abstract and kinda shiny because of the medium I was using.  I liked it... how strange.

Wed was an okay-but day; I had my midterm but I didn't finish it; I had my hebrew quiz, but I had studied the material that she ended up taking off the quiz; it was a nice temperature but it was raining, it was good to see the 1st and second graders but they didn't really listen; I ran across a gorgeous song but it makes me cry.  So the Grey Lady and the Strawberry Snatcher crashed and burned today - kids energy levels outstripped ours and no one listened and we lost them.  There was a lesson plan, yes, and we actually did go over rules.  But our issue seems to be that we desperately want them to be enjoying themselves while learning something - or else why bother? it won' ( Read more... )
