Yesterday, I got to go see snow. We drove up to Truckee, puttered about for a bit and had pizza. When it was time to leave, it had started to rain, then snow. And Palm Sunday, at that. I can hear the neighbours outside, playing basketball and generally doing family/weekend things. Neil is back from donating blood. I think his blood sugar is whacked, because he felt kind of bad there, for a bit. I fed him, and it seems to have helped. He's lying down ( Read more... )

Neil is off today, due to Veteran's Day. When it falls on a Saturday, County employees get the previous Friday off; when it's on Sunday, they get the following Monday, and of course, should it fall on a weekday, they get that day off. We're planning to take a trip to the Coast ( Read more... )
