Yesterday Dave and I ended up hiking with the dogs in the woods by Lamartine. He wanted to see if he could find and show me some Lady Slipper flowers that had grown in years past there. We didn't find any but we did find the leaves of some. Either we were too early or else those plants didn't have the energy to put out flowers this year. Some ( Read more... ) -

I want to thank everyone who left such nice comments to my last 2 entries. I really appreciate all the good thoughts and wishes. Monday seems like a whole world ago now in some ways. The end of mom's life, and really, the many years preceding it have been an ordeal, for us and for her. It is such a relief to have her on her way to a better place, ( Read more... )
