We met up at the Clarion River with Dave's brother Bob and sister Carol and her husband Ed yesterday. Bob's dog is a youngish lab (2 years old) and he and Andy had a great time playing together. Bob had invited a friend and the friend's wife and niece and they brought 2 old beagles. Very low-key dogs compared to the playing labs running all over ( Read more... )

Clean up of the big table in my room has been a long time coming. It used to be my enameling table when I was doing jewelry work and there were still many trays of enamels on one side of it. Then I set up it in March of 2020 as a sewing spot so I could sew masks for the pandemic. Then I got the new camera and it started being a spot to store my ( Read more... )

Dave's gone already - off to ice fish. I like to see him off. It seems that if I am sleeping when he leaves (comes in to give me a kiss goodbye) I can't get back to sleep again anyway so it's better to get up and stay up before he leaves. It's going to be a beautiful day today. Up to 60 and sunny. We take our papers to our tax lady in the morning and then Jan and I are hiking in the afternoon. Yesterday Dave and I bought some plants. Eating lunch now. Puttering today. Slowly working on clearing a space to put the piano, which means clearing another space to hold the dresser that is in the spot now where the piano will be going.
