Thesis work has been kind of sporadic lately, as Dr. Grundke (my supervisor) has been going nuts working on the new degree program. On the upside, having someone "on the inside" there has been great for job opportunities - I'm going to be doing a bunch of TA-related stuff for it in the fall. Whoo extra money! This means that everything I've been working on since late November actually works, and I can now turn my attention to the stuff more immediately relevant to my thesis. Finally got my AODV implementation done. Now I can actually run some simulations and start on the really relevant code for my thesis.

Arjuna is really, really well-done. It's well-written, the mix of themes is excellent, the themes are well-handled, and the animation is absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure if it's hand-drawn or CG or what, but it looks amazing. Oh, and the music's by Yoko Kanno. I am, of course, downloading the soundtrack as I type this. Mirror Mask - really frigging weird. Very, very well-done, though. I love the visual style, and the writing's top-notch too. So buying the DVD tomorrow, if I can find a) a copy and b) time. ssh servers running on my home machine are so useful. There's been next to zero questions today, so I'm staving off boredom by getting actual thesis work done.
