Have I mentioned lately that I pretty much can't stand any of the people I work with? Well, there you go...

So...work stuff- Today I was training someone who normally works at night so I'd never met him before. This guy was super tall. I'm only 5'3". :-) I asked him how tall he was and he said he was 6'4". Of course, my first thought was, "this is what it'd be like to stand next to Tom" (give or take an inch). :-) I've known other guys who are that tall ( Read more... )

This seems to be the sentiment of my new workplace. I've been here 3 months and everyone really seems to be out for themselves and in total cover your own ass mode.  I think it was my first week here that someone overslept (which is pretty easy to do when you have to be at work at 3:30 a.m.). The more I work with people, the more convinced I am that I would be better off working in a dark cave somewhere with absolutely no person to person interaction. In general, I happen to think that I'm a nice, friendly person and easy to get along with. However, I think that there are some people who are just un-get along-able.
