got a call from Graduate Studies today. turns out they made a little clerical error with my thesis...which didn't actually pass. apparently, the external examiner failed it. which means i don't get to do my defense, so all that form signing was for naught. at this point, everyone is mostly astonished and perplexed. seems that this hasn't ( Read more... )

so the week started out pretty good. i received news that my thesis passed. no news on corrections until i defend, but "passed" means that any corrections should be minor...and i get to defend at all. i also got my tax refund check from Revenu Quebec, so i was able to have a little fun when i went to Chapters to pick up a book i ordered for Zoe ( Read more... )
