The house guests finally left today. As Sister had today off, but day care was open, we had intended to go to the morning water aerobics class at the gym. The house seemed so nice and peaceful and clean, though, that we were slackers and played video games instead. Went out to dim sum with my Aunt Cynthia today. Yummy food as always, and it was great to see her. I hope we cheered her up a little too; she's recently lost one of her kitties and her long time roommate moved back to Japan, so she's been down. Things are still going along pretty much all the same here. Had a good trip home for Christmas. I still need to get a real job. My "temporary" job now sucks slightly less...or slightly more, I haven't yet decided. After avoiding it a couple of times, I finally ended up with the Lead Cashier position at the store. hello from Tully's Coffee.  no, i didn't change jobs.  i'm just hanging out at the café while the cleaners are at the house.  i don't need to be scrubbed or Lysoled.  *l*  also, i can sit here, drink some chai, and work on my thesis.  at least, that's the idea.  we'll see how long it takes to write this entry first.  heehee.
