You know you're in trouble when it's 99 at noon.  At least the local weatherdude says we'll have some relief near the end of the week... cold snap to 102.  Yesterday it was 107.  I know I'm going to heaven because I've done my time in hell.  Instead of doing outside stuff, I'm indoors on a weekend watching Clean House.

I got my new  Select  Comfort  (sleep number) bed Friday and I can't believe how amazing it is.  Lindsay Wagner ain't lyin'.  Now none of my bedding is worthy, so I decided to shop online for something new.  While checking the online dictionary to see how to pronounce "matelasse", I found a link that led me straight to it.  It was fate I tell ya.

Mollie has had such a week.  First mean ol' Mom gets all of her hair cut off then she has her teeth cleaned and three stitches in the top of her head after having an evil wart removed (which is why the top of her head is shaved).  As you can see, there's a reason we call her Lumpy.

I found myself awake at 2am thinking about finishing this.  After an hour I decided I was doing more harm than good, so I'm calling it done.  Ignore the bluish tint... if you photograph something white, it will reflect your purple t-shirt.  Scanner used too much light and wiped out the detail, so I had to resort to digital camera, but the pic still ( Read more... )

Cool weather has been so nice... it's warming up a bit, but at least you can breathe out there.  All of my flowers are starting to bloom again which makes me happy.

My friend was driving home from a short trip to the market and he was stopped by the police.  The officer said he was doing 55 in a 45 mph zone and he'd get a warning.  Then came the usual DMV check, after which he was informed there was a warrant out for his arrest, handcuffed, had his car searched and was hauled to the Denton County Jail.
