Been a while since I've posted. Spent some time in the country today to enjoy the first weekend of fall. I've waited 4 months for this. How nice to have actual fresh un-conditioned air in the house tonight.
Finally saw the doctor and he put me on a 6-day course of steroids and painkillers to get me moving around again (and I thank him for that). After a week I'm doing better, but still using a cane. Re-visit in a week to talk some more. Of all things, he says the x-rays look like early-onset scoliosis. At least I have an idea what's going on and that's a relief. To all of you who have listened to me whine incessantly for the last 6 weeks, I thank you and I promise you will be rewarded for your patience in your next life. ;-)
What a week. Laurie, D'Onofrio and Spader all in one night. And Billy O Billy... how good is it to see your face again? And now David James Elliott on Close to Home? I've watched so much TV this week I'm in sensory overload. WaT on Sunday night... how odd, but such a good show I hope it's not forgotten by it's regulars.
Hope to finally see Hollywoodland tomorrow. This time we might actually make it to the movie.
