My friend was driving home from a short trip to the market and he was stopped by the police.  The officer said he was doing 55 in a 45 mph zone and he'd get a warning.  Then came the usual DMV check, after which he was informed there was a warrant out for his arrest, handcuffed, had his car searched and was hauled to the Denton County Jail.

I get up *early* and brush Mollie (because she looks like a Brillo pad) and shuttle her over to the groomer at 0730, only to find out that her husband is in the hospital and she won't be in till who-knows-when.  As we leave Mollie is mentally hi-fiving herself thinking she got a repreive.  So the bath/haircut is on hold for now, but I hope they let ( Read more... )
