I’m concerned for A.  She found out this week that she has osteoporosis, meaning that her bones are disintegrating as we speak.  It’s a severe case, and she’s most definitely on the young side for this to be happening.  Even more troublesome is that there’s not much there to begin with -- as she put it, she’s got bird bones, and is hands down one ( Read more... )

1.  Perhaps the only thing I like as much as putting up a Christmas tree is taking it down.  Good riddance.

2.  Stuck my kiddos in the Y's childcare for an hour today.  Went running on a machine until my legs tingled and then had the whole sauna to myself until my legs tingled.  Solo saunas are....  hot.  Just sayin'.

Yup.  I had a $600 work-out this morning.  At least as close as I can figure that's how much it cost.  The YMCA membership is around $100 bucks a month, and this was the second time I've gone this year.  I've been saying to myself that I need to cancel the Y because no one uses it, because I hate gyms and would much rather go outside and walk up ( Read more... )

I just finished teaching my three-hour Friday morning class.  About two hours into it I realized that my shirt was unbuttoned practically to my bellybutton.  I suppose I can be thankful that I was wearing my 'good' bra -- or not, as it also happens to be one my of racier ones.  My only question at the moment is whether or not black lace will make ( Read more... )
