The White Stuff
Just a little while ago, Kiddo #1 was reading the Where Did I Come From? book to her four and half year old little brother. Handy of her to take care of the "sex talk" for us... Anyway, the two of them were chatting about "the white stuff" that comes out of the man's penis. Kiddo #2 turned to his father and asked, "Daddy, when will the white stuff come out of my penis?" The answer was, "When you are grown up."
Now, excuse me, but that does not exactly seem like an accurate answer. Yes, one would hope that when/if it comes out for the explicit purpose of baby-making, that will be when he's an adult. However, one would expect that "the white stuff" will be coming out sooner than that. Which led me to realize that I'm not entirely sure when and how the men I know experienced their first ejaculation, and/or when they first became aware of "the white stuff" that comes out. I know I've discussed this with men in the past, but it's been awhile. (And off the top of my head, the earliest age I recall hearing about was when ex-boyfriend T. was given an impromptu and unrequested blow-job from the teenage girl down the street when he was 13.)
So, if any of y'all would like to share this information, it would be enlightening to this mother who'd like to be able to give her son slightly more nuanced and accurate answers to his physical and sexuality questions than, "When you are grown up."
