On our second night in Colorado, we drove west into the mountains, to Golden Gate Canyon State Park. We had rented a yurt there that would be our home for the next 5 days.

We arrived home in Columbus Saturday evening. We had fun, and did indeed marry ourselves. :-) My only complaints are that our vacation was too short, and that we never made it up into the glaciated portion of the Rockies (I am undone by U-shaped valleys ( Read more... )

One month till our Colorado trip. While I have happily rejected most of the wedding trappings, I find I do want to have something nice to wear. I plan on taking pictures of ourselves using the camera's self timer, so I would like to wear something that will look good in pictures.
