Wish I had something very interesting to update, but I don't.  The last few weeks have been more of the same:  chasing the little kid, trying not to be too frustrated with the big kid.

As of last Sunday, March 2, Nate is officially walking. Weird that my squidgy little newborn is a miniature person now, walking around with a whole new attitude that includes squealing fits when I won't let him have phone chargers/sticks/air fresheners. He's still cute, but getting meaner.

This week, because of this 'n that 'n the other thing, Nate and I really haven't gone anywhere or done anything. We haven't seen Becki or Elijah at all this week, either, for the first time in ages.

My birthday was pretty alright, and uneventful. Considering birthdays past, uneventful looks pretty damn good in my book. We went to visit my parents at the lake. It was a way short visit. This is way late, yes, I know.  The video card in Dave's laptop went kerphlooey while we were still at the lake house (sans internet), and he just got it back up again today.  It's actually been kind of refreshing to not be online all the time.  I hadn't realized how much time we spent depending on the computer to keep us entertained ( Read more... )

We're home from Thanksgiving- whew.  It was a great trip, but I could certainly do without all the car hours.  I spent a good bit of both the trip there and back in the backseat, fighting off car-sickies and keeping Nate calm and happy.  It was really great to see Mom and Dad, and the dogs.  Saturday afternoon, we took the boys to see Santa Claus ( Read more... )
