Travel to and from the convention was mostly good, if rather a long trip. The last week has been incredibly dangerous on the 70 mile stretch of Interstate between the state line and just past my office. I've already talked about the traffic SNAFU from last Wednesday, and traffic getting gummed up yesterday morning. My lame attempt to mow the lawn last night was exhausting. I thought that with the sun being obscured and the temperature being under 90 degrees, I might stand a chance of getting at least half of it done. Nope. I practically needed an aqualung to breathe. The alarm woke me up on time this morning, and I wanted to doze a little longer. Time was in compressed mode this morning. Every time I blinked, the clock appeared to jump ahead 7 minutes or so.
