Well, I am officially "on pilgrimmage" SCA-wise. Thanks to the refocusing of our energies on the house and closer-to-home interests, we don't expect to be at more than one or two events per year now. Last week involved a lot of telecommuting. Something in the air sent my sinuses for a real loop, and it tried to lodge in my chest. I took the new vehicle in for its first oil change on Friday. They took care of the tire rotation and oil change in pretty short order, but I did think it odd they asked if my computer system had been working OK. I think they hexed me. There seems to be a brief flurry of SCAdians I know being on the news. sinclairhawkins was interviewed by the local FOX station and the newspaper with regard to his participation in Battle of the Nations. My weekly social activity was half about running trains at the museum for some rather enthusiastic little visitors who obsessively followed the trains around the layout for at least an hour. I did a little more research on the heraldry wiki and the Creative Commons licensing that the wiki template says all contributions fall under. Not to be nasty about it, but it is a bad idea and bad form to put someone's article up on a wiki proclaiming the CC license agreement is in effect when you didn't seek their permission in the first place ( Read more... )
