Today, I got schooled (people still use that phrase, right?). I've known about fanvids for while now, but today I learned that they're more than just putting clips to music to champion your favorite pairing. My favorite movie is Memoirs of a Geisha. The cinematography is great, the actors are excellent, and the story itself is just spellbinding and lovely. Today over at comment_fic , tiptoe39  answered the prompt "Supernatural/RPS; 'Dean/Castiel', Misha, Jensen, Jared, fangirls, whoever; The first convention of the off season after Dean/Cas are made canon" with the most epic story EVER.  Not my prompt, but I have to rec anyway because it's just the awesome. <3 Go thence and read... So I haven't posted anything for a few weeks, but I'm still alive! I had to come out of hiding to rec this gorgeous fic written for me by comment_fic . It's for my prompt "Supernatural, wee!Dean and John, Dean comforts his father after a hunt." The fic is adorable and heartbreaking and awesomely epic win. I high recommend it. Read it here...

It's quite a clever little site that posts a one word prompt each day, gives you one minute to write on it, then lets you post it and read other people's responses.
