Is there a non-sucky LJ client out there? I just tried to make a post to ontd_political with semagic and I gave up trying. It's like I can't use tags, the lj cuts are all wonky and messed up, it makes wacky html decisions, randomly freezes, etc. etc. etc. etc. Is there some magical lj client I don't knwo about that makes things less irritating for posters? Yesterday I was in a post on ontd_political and discovered that if I returned to a page of comments I had already read it put a little "new comment" alert next to unread comments. How delightful! I was online before on my desktop comp playing HRmageddon (excellent game for those of you who haven't tried it yet) when all of a sudden my computer turned itself off. I wrote yesterday that I'm inundated with new technology. This could be problematic as I just failed big time at using the microwave. Either that or I'm going blind.

So I finally got around to re-tagging all my LJ entries in a cohesive, orderly way. And now I realized that because I have less of them I can use a larger font and make them readable.  Except I made the layout like 2-3 years ago, and I'll be damned if I remember how to mess around with the crazy tag font business. So my external hard drive has a corrupted folder.  Just one out of many.  Is there anyway I can determine if this is actual hardware failure vs. virus damage (or...something else)?
