After checking my bank statements and realizing that the gas tank in my car hasn't been filled for almost exactly two months, I feel so much less bad about owning a car, at least on the environmental front. Looks like I can get some respectable mileage out of the VR6.

There has been less than fantastic luck this morning. Both of the cars I was going to go test drive were bought last night. Alas. Instead I went to a VW dealership and test drove an '05 GTI 1.8T. That was both fun and nerve-wracking, since it was a manual and I am only sort of O.K. at driving manuals. Driving stick shift at low speeds = tricky. I ( Read more... )
