Life! It is interesting!
This week promises to be rather interesting.
Work is finally up to speed again. Boss has explained what all I'm trying to do and it sounds like we're actually pretty close to having publishable results. Which means my name will be on said paper. Which will be shiny!
Also, boss was fine with me taking Friday off. I had been a bit worried, since it seems like no one takes vacations in my lab. This means I can spend the morning biking in glorious sunshine, then go on a (pseduo)date (I really have no idea what it is other than meeting someone I haven't met before) in the afternoon.
This weekend will be spent going up to Seattle with the lovely Kris. This dovetails very nicely as my parents wanted me to come up for Easter and Kris wants to see Camelot. This way I actually have company for what is a less than thrilling drive when done all by my lonesome. Good company at that!
