I've been working on LOTS of things this weekend.  I am almost finished with Lee's new doublet.  I cut out the pieces for a new bodice for myself... and then was digging through my closet and found a nicely done black bodice that I've worn once.  So now I'm torn about whether of not to go through the trouble of making a new one.  Hmmmmmmm.... .... that it is time for me to have a new Renaissance costume.  However, that being said, the gown I'd -like- to make would cost me quite a bit since it would require 20 yards+ of cotton twill.... which in Dodge costs $6.99 a yard.  EEEEEK!  But I have an equally great idea to make a brand new gypsy costume out of bits and pieces of various fabrics ( Read more... )
