Blargh....
... my allergies got REALLY bad there for a couple of days. But fortunatey, there's been a very pleasant and steady rain now since yesterday and it looking to continue a while. Ahhhhhh.... allergy relief for a brief peiod of time.
I have LOTS of costume orders now but fortunately they are all quite simple... save the one Princess Peach costume I decided to take on. Not so much difficult as there is just going to be a lot of pieces to assemble for that one. I think it will be VERY cute when its finished. I'm also doing two more ghost capes and a gypsy skirt with peasant blouse... right up my alley.... plus a little "captain's" coat, pantaloons, and jabot for a toddler to be a colonial town cryer.... its too adorable.
Rehearsals are continuing to progress for J & H... last night was the best I have sounded since auditions. I was REALLY pleased with how it went. Rain really does make a huge difference in my singing ability. Hopefully today will be even better than last night. We are supposed to be having another cast party this Saturday and Lee has decided that he doesn't want to go... he'd rather spend all day Saturday with me instead. That is too sweet. We are planning to stay locked in my house with a fire in the wood burning stove, a bottle of champagne and "On the Riveria" with Danny Kaye. Sounds like my kind of Saturday. Esepcially since Sunday is the start of "hell week" for us. We open on the 15th... can you believe that?
