I'm settling into my new job OK - it's a really great environment and my team are people I can see myself liking a great deal, once I've got over the initial neurosis associated with being in a totally new environment. So I rock, a little bit. I went for a job interview today and decided to go early to minimise the outside chance of being late. Taking the likelihood of being late quite seriously (it is ME, after all!), I arrived at 11am for a 12.45 interview. Keen? I have an interview on Friday and I got a really great part in the show at the auditions yesterday. I have an bowlful of garlic and herb linguine covered in butter, and a Virgin+ box full of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Grey's Anatomy and Ugly Betty. Exactly how fantastic would something have to be to top that???

I bought a wedding dress and I am applying for new jobs. Excellent. It would appear that someone wants to chop back our garden's trees and possibly remove one of them. Had a really great couple of nights out this weekend: went to Mobius for cocktails with work colleagues and managed to work "felching" (feltching?) into the conversation, which caused much amusement as I apparently shouldn't know what it is. Pete and I babysit his sister's dog 3-4 times per week, a pure black German Shepherd called Raven. She should really be called Houdini, as she has now escaped from our LOCKED house twice, once to the pub (?!) and once into the arms of an off-duty policeman, who calmly restrained her from fighting with his husky/malamute cross.
