Earlier I was at Wal-Mart, my food and provisions purchased. It was sunny when I left my house. Then there came a spectacular and furious thunderstorm. In my continuing quest for more work hours and a better paycheck, I was offered, and jumped at, the opportunity to stay for a few hours past the end of my scheduled shift. And by Satan, I mean the traffic director along our morning route to the high school. She has NEVER done her job well, or efficiently. I know this because on the few occasions she’s been gone and we had a different director, traffic moved along much more swiftly.
