Crackplot...!
Well. We all know that Percy has peach trees with more peaches than he knows what to do with, and he's been harvesting them and trying to give them to everyone, leaving baskets of peaches just about everywhere.
By unfortunate coincidence, though, someone or something has rather given them an effect, or rather say defect, for this effect defective is. In brief: dare to eat a peach, and you'll genderswitch.
The results will conveniently wear off in about two weeks, but until then, the unknowing sampler of fruit is stuck. There's also a slight delay associated with it--one may or may not immediately switch. Of course this will make for charming morning after hijinks.
(Percy's already a victim. Just look at the poor boy. It doesn't, however, matter much to him--he can still work in the garden...! He does want to talk to Heli, though, and see if she knows what's going on.)
