I'm in Delaware for yet another Patent Litigation trial that starts Monday. Fortunately, this one is only 5 days, so I'll be home next Saturday.

However, it's a Jury Trial (many of them are Bench trials) so I will have to play this 2002 "Introduction to Patents" video from the Federal Judicial Center to the Jury before opening statements:

This is my last work-day in San Diego for the next 2 weeks... I fly to Delaware Sunday morning to work at a trial, returning October 8.

That means two weeks of really long days with loads of overtime. Unfortunately, that also means missing Conjecture this year ( Read more... )

I am scheduled to leave for another trial on April 15 in DC. Then I will probably stay in DC for a couple weeks afterward to be available for local office work (we are migrating some of San Diego's LitSupport systems to their local office and someone needs to be on-hand to assist the local staff until they are used to the change) then I travel ( Read more... )
