We had a quiet day at the Uncles. The stress levels I have at the 'berry are nonexistent at the bookstore. I spent more than I made, but hey I got more books to bring home. I got my copy of Alan Bean's Painting Apollo. I already have most of these from his earlier book, but I'm always happy to get new Apollo materials.

The weather last week was pretty decent and I put a lot of miles of the bike. I rode to work four days in a row. The only downside was getting up early enough to have time to make the trip. I was going to hit four bookstores after work today, since the weather was dicey yesterday for riding and I was busy reading. Alas, I only made it to three stores. It gets dark too soon for me to ride over to the Uncles to look for something. I was looking for graphic novels today, but I ended up having better luck finding books on Project Apollo. I got a copy of the Ron Howard film, In The Shadow Of The Moon, today. It's a documentary on the Apollo Program. Thank goodness for Ron and Tom Hanks, it's great to have some fellow lunar enthusiasts, who are filmmakers. I bought the DVD of Battlestar Galactica Razor at Best Buy. I bought it there in part because of the exclusive bonus disc offer. Imagine my surprise when I discovered I had no bonus disc, in spite of the label on the package and the promise in their flier. As usual, Hobbes was sleeping with us this morning, tucked in against my legs. I got up to give him breakfast after which he likes to play with yarn balls. We have some mouse sized ones just for him, although he helps himself to all the yarn in the place.
