Managed to drag myself out of bed a bit earlier. Turned on some music, put away the dishes from having people over on the weekend, did the dishes from the past two days, tidied the house. Going to enjoy a nice coffee then get dressed. The sun is shining, I think today is the right day for the linen suit to come out.

Amazing weather this weekend. Hottest day in October in over 100 years. We pretty much wrote yesterday off, got a copy of the Sunday Times, and rode our bikes to the park.

As the weather extended to today, I had to ride my bike to work. Hopefully there will be enough decent days this winter to continue on the bike every week.

Went to see a comedian last night. Walk out it was so bad. Another beer or so and we would have heckled him. Probably should have, just for laughs. Still, good to catch up with mates ( Read more... )
