They have Shakespeare in the park in NY and we have Shakespeare at the Castle in Prague. Beautiful place, great atmosphere, the best actors, very expensive and sold out. I went to see this movie solely based on the buzz it was generating in the US. I felt a bit disappointed when I was leaving the cinema. It was an average movie. Not horrible but not great either. Acting some of the actors was really tragic. But hey, almost naked guys dancing, I can´t object to that, can I.

I was raving about Cabaret Calembour last year and last month I went to see another performance of theirs. This time a not a regular cabaret but a short improv show that they call Kala Evening. The Chicago musical has been back on Prague theater stages since November, this time in much smaller production than the one in the Music Theater Karlin ten years back. There was one lovely weekend in October when I went to see an photography exhibition called Controversies in Rudolfinum Gallery. It was really interesting, you could see many photographs that changed or affected the world, whether in law or ethical subjects. I went to see the musical CURTAINS in September, got a ticket as a birthday present from my friend. I wanted to see it so the present was very welcomed. After all the Saturday hoopla I had kind of a lazy Sunday morning and afternoon and I went to a theater in the evening.
