Friday, October 9th -- First paycheck after my five-year anniversary.  I have another full week of vacation.  If I were to take all of my vacation, personal days and religious leave at once, I could literally take a month off from work.  My wife and I had dinner with the friend who records TV shows for us.  With the new season, she's taping 7 hours ( Read more... )

On the way in to work this morning, the radio was saying that Ricky Nelson's sons Gunner and Matthew were coming to Buffalo on a 'Ricky Nelson Remembered' tour.  The announcer gave details for buying tickets while you heard them singing in the background.  I just said to myself, "I wonder if they'll play 'Garden Party'"  when they started singing ( Read more... )
