A guy on the 99 B-line bus had a stack of cardboard boxes beside him, in the aisle.  He'd gotten them from the produce stand nearby and they were all banana boxes.

I smiled when I noticed that the boxes were empty.  He had no bananas!

Why do lovely shiny things have to tarnish?

I am not of the Upper Class nor am I surrounded by High Quality shinies that don't tarnish or fade.

I wish that some of my shinies, though not High Class, High Quality, would remain sparkly and as vibrant as when I first became enamored with them.

The 'spa' up the street is open late, yet I never see a receptionist, employee or client in the place.  It's well shrouded with curtain material but I can still see a bit through the sheer curtains, especially at night.  I suspect it's not a spa that I would visit.

a purple, star shaped mylar balloon just floated past the living room window.

I went outside to watch as it drifted away toward the Telus building and then vanish from sight behind some houses.  it was trailing some ribbons and possibly could have been low enough to catch had I been able to leap up from my chair and run outside with athletic

Every once in a while I have this thought ... many thoughts, actually.

It begins with some curiosity about my spam / bulk email folder because sometimes the filters actually screw up and my friends emails get misfiled.

I glance at the names and subjects for some amusement.  lately it's about amusing subject lines:
