a balloony moment
a purple, star shaped mylar balloon just floated past the living room window.
I went outside to watch as it drifted away toward the Telus building and then vanish from sight behind some houses. it was trailing some ribbons and possibly could have been low enough to catch had I been able to leap up from my chair and run outside with athletic exuberance.
