The store has been keeping us more than busy for the past couple months. A comic shop a few blocks up the street closed in early August so we got a lot of new customers from them, and then what DC did with relaunching ALL their books at #1....we had NO idea what to expect! Last night Rich & I made our weekly Sunday night pilgrimage to Walgreen's. With Miss Olive in tow, we went shopping. We were looking for birthday cards for a friend and Olive was sitting all pretty and minding her own business. Miss Olive turned 5 last week and of course we spoil our little girls rotten. Today was our official anniversary of gettin' hitched, so what did we do??? Well, after Rich worked for 4 hours we headed up to the store so he could do some more work. Last week we took Miss Ruby into the vet to have her lady parts scooped out. I was scared to death about it cuz she is daddy's little girl after all. We had it done at the SFSPCA and I just have to say it went great. The receptionist was sooo nice and fun. Ruby is turning out to be a most wonderful addition to the Cougarich family! Olive is one of the bestest big sisters a puppy could ever want or have. The quiet, reserved, always demure (and usually quiet) Olive has started taking on the big sister protective roll. We've had Ruby for almost 3 weeks now, and she is fitting in very well. We can't take her for walkies yet because she isn't completely vaccinated yet, so we are trying the piddle pad approach. Sometimes she's really good about sometimes she isn't. And we swear to Odin that she is poop shy. She WILL NOT poop if we are in the room, it's like the Poop ( Read more... )

Ruby has been with us for only 4 days now, but we know she belongs here. First off, she still has her back dew claws.
