I bought the WSO offer that I was considering, and I'm now taking a look at the highlights of Guthy|Renker's history (major infomercial company). Lady (the cat) is absolutely enthralled by that page, as I move through the timeline. Alpo decided to escape. When Pepper and Lady realized he was gone, they both broke out, as well, in an attempt to find and retrieve him. Surprisingly, they were successful in shepherding him back home; everyone's safe, now.

Lady (cat) apparently yanked my disk drive to the floor, and now it only makes sad clicking noises. Not a total disaster, as I use Mozy, although it's been three weeks since my last backup. Most of my recent work has been on Google Drive, so it's not going to be a huge loss, but still, I'd like to see what I can do to get things back. We'll see.

Lady (the eldest cat) has been throwing up a bit too often lately, so we took her to the vet, who gave us a few things to try first before we start looking at more serious solutions. Hopefully this is a short-term thing, rather than something more serious.

This weekend has mainly been a recovery after two nights of broken sleep, first for the rescuing of Alpo Thursday morning, and then to take Cat Lady for her gastroscopy the next day. She's doing fine; I've been a bit slower to get back to normal. Her results came back quickly: no obvious problems, which is great on the one hand, but we were also ( Read more... )
