I got a phone call from the school a little over an hour ago: Youngest was in the office with a slight temperature, headache, stomachache and wanting to go home. Hubbie is in Spain, MIL is out for the day (which is why I'd specially booked her into the Out Of School Club for today - more money wasted), so there was no one else to pick her up. It was really lovely outside this morning, so I hung out some washing for the first time this year. It was almost dry, when the the heavens opened about 10 minutes ago and it *poured* with rain - and too quickly for me to go and get the washing back in. My dear daughters have both passed their piano exams!!!!!! Considering that xtreame_sk8 and faeriegirl1 both came out of the exam room saying they'd done badly, that is really, really great news :-D

The office is fairly quiet today: My boss is on his way back to the USA, and two of my colleagues work from home on a Friday. My consultant is now on holiday for three weeks, so the bulk of the work on the Expenses side is now done (hence the longer than usual working days in the last few weeks). I am feeling really washed out today, plus I'm aching right across the centre of my back. That's different to any of the nerve-based back problems I've had in the past, and I don't know what's caused it - perhaps bad sitting position or something.
