Eep, I keep missing people's birthdays! So, before I rush off again, I must say:

I hope both of you had wonderful birthdays!
The other thing I have to say is a big THANK YOU to significantowl for the unexpected parcel - it cheered up my day no end, MC *hugs*
As long as all the planes are running today, our kids will arrive home from Germany very late tonight. Hope there aren't many delays for them. I've really missed them - the house seems so deathly quiet when they're not here.
Last night I went on a night/meal out with a large crowd from work - 28 of us in all. Hubbie dropped me off, and I dragged him in for a drink before the meal so he could meet one or two people. I did have rather a lot of wine, though, and I'm slightly hung over today - though nowhere near as bad as some people in the office this morning.
The task of the day tomorrow is getting my hair and Eldest's hair cut. Neither of us can see out from behind our fringes at present, and I'm looking forward to feeling a little more kempt again.
