Hello cupcakers, I come to you with a problem. I recently baked some delicious cupcakes with fresh blueberries which became very sticky overnight. I'm making cupcakes for our Christmas dinner desert, I was wondering which is better, making them Christmas eve and then storing them, or make them Christmas morning then store them?

Also, which way is best to store cupcakes, fridge? or out in the open?

If it makes a difference, The icing will be cream cheese icing.

Ok so I've heard

1. store your cupcakes in a tightly covered container so they do not harden or go stale

2. Store cupcakes loosely covered at room temperature

3. Store cupcakes in refrigerator

Which is it? Or which is the best way to sore them?

I have gobs of baking cups taking up space on top of my microwave. I have a horrible tendency to buy every cute design I see. Oops. So I was wondering what clever ways you lovelies might store your cups!
