The beginning of school is throwing me off of my journal writing a bit. In a nutshell: the past two days have been great. Apparently I just needed the rest to have a new perspective. I got a double whammy at school today. First Mrs. Coates showed up unexpectedly to observe me. I told her the best time to come but apparently she disregarded my suggestion. It's been a busy day today. It started out beautifully by me being able to sleep late. I had to see a new doctor today, Dr. Jernigan. He's the resident foot specialist in the building with Dr. Lucas at Piedmont Orthopaedics. So Susie had her interview at Clinton Elementary this morning.  Clinton Elementary is part of Laurens 56; I am in Laurens 55.  Anyway, she it really sucked that she had to get up on her first Monday off.  I had hoped we could have stayed up last night.  She even turned down a good time with Ace, Neill, and Renzo.  WTF?

Today was the last full day of school for Laurens 55.  It was also Awards Day.  Of course I made it, especially after I bitched out on yesterday's Field Day.
